Schindler's List ... best movie i hv ever watched ..

well...i was searching for this movie for several years...and finally i bought it from a movie store @ Bamba .. right after i came home i watchd the movie cos i hv heard that ws a great movie... IT IS....that is one of the greatest movies ever made according to me... which reveals the brutality of Nazis n consequences of wars.. right from the begining it was a sad , emotional movie.. my eyes were wet with tears..but ..my goodness..the last scene , where Oskar says "I could have saved more..i cuold hv done more..Goeth would like this gold tie pin n he would have given me more people for this tie pin ,,this car..etc .... "
you know..i was,,,c r y i n g ..wow..thats the scene which made me more sad ....even when i remember it lately, about that last scene , then again my eyes are ful o f tears.. Oskar couldnt bare the warm farewell given by the survivs , as the movie highlighted that he was nervious and couldnt hold the ring that was given to him,,he was soo exited at the moment so as i and lot of others i know..that was one of the greatet n sadest movies i have ever watched..this movie deserve the academy award..nice work by Steven Speilberg..

The scene of the little girl, wearing the red coat s another heart felt scene in this movie ... it is very suitablly done to highlight that little girl by her red color coat , and , when her dead body s carrying ... :( ... oohh .. how cruel this world has become ...

The sport I love most

Badminton , the worlds 3rd fastest sport , is the sport i love most ..
i started playing badminton in 1992 , when i was in grade 3 at Richmond College ..
i didn't like going for practices at the beginning , but as time goes, i started loving it .. :)
I took part in my first ever all-island badminton match in 1994, at the Junior Nationals tournament, in under 11 singles category. Guess who was my opponent at all Island level,  he is current Sri Lanka #1 player Niluke Karunarathna.. No need to mention the result of the match ;)   ( 15-2, 15-5 ) At that time it was using old scoring system and one set goes for 15 points.

I captained the college team from under 11 (1995) to under 19 (2002) in various all island tournaments.
In 1996 I was a member of the team who won under 13 all island team championships, in 2002 we were the runner-up team of an all island doubles tournament.
In under 13 and under 15 categories in Junior nationals I was able to qualify for the quarter finals.

During my University time I was a member of faculty team as well as in the university team. I captained  both the teams in 2007.  In 2004 and 2006 I was awarded SLUSA (Sri Lanka University Sports Association) for outstanding performance in Badminton in inter-university games. I was awarded as the best badminton player of University of Ruhuna, in 2007.

I really enjoy playing Badminton anytime I can, and selecting badminton as my primary sport is one of the best decisions I have taken in my life..! :)
